Install guide

Getting Enzuna on your phone

Android may ask you to confirm the install — that's normal for apps outside the Play Store. Follow these four steps and you'll be set.

Allow installs from your browser

Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → Chrome → Allow from this source.

Download the APK

Enter your email and tap Get the APK. When the download finishes, open the file from your notification or Downloads folder.

Confirm with Play Protect

If Google Play Protect appears, tap More details, then Install anyway — not OK.

Open Enzuna

Tap Install, then Open. Grant contacts access when asked so Enzuna can help you keep in touch.

Questions, answered.

What does Enzuna mean?: The name blends En (縁) and Kizuna (絆): Japanese words for the connections that bring people into your life and the bonds that hold them close. Enzuna is a personal CRM built around that idea: remembering the human details so the people who matter feel seen.
Is Enzuna really free?: Yes. The private beta is free. We'll likely offer a paid tier later for advanced features, but core relationship-keeping stays free.
Where is my data stored?: On your device. Enzuna is local-first. We don't run a server that holds your contacts or notes.
When is iOS coming?: We're focused on getting Android right first. iOS is on the roadmap; join the beta to hear when it lands.
How is this different from my address book?: Your address book stores phone numbers. Enzuna stores the human stuff: what they care about, what you talked about, when to reach out again.
Is it safe to install an APK from enzuna.app?: Yes. Enzuna isn't on the Play Store yet because we're in private beta — Android shows a confirmation for any app installed outside the store, not because ours is unsafe. Download only from enzuna.app (served at downloads.enzuna.app). Your data stays on your phone; we don't see your contacts or notes. See our step-by-step download & install guide if you get stuck.
Why does Google Play Protect warn me?: Play Protect flags apps it hasn't seen from a developer before. That's expected for a new indie app in beta. Tap More details, then Install anyway — not OK. Our download & install guide has screenshots showing exactly where to tap.
The download didn't work — what should I do?: Open enzuna.app in Chrome, allow installs from Chrome in Settings, enter your email, and try again. Check Downloads or your notification shade for the file. Full walkthrough with screenshots in our download & install guide.
How do I report a bug or send feedback?: Use the feedback form below, or email us at enzunateam@gmail.com. Please include your device model, Android version, and what you expected vs. what happened — it helps us fix things faster.
